Kasina, a company based in South Korea, is set to release a highly anticipated sneaker collaboration inspired by a longstanding tradition. The collaboration will feature a pair of Air Max 1 sneakers, and there are two different colorways to choose from.
Kasina is releasing two styles of the Air Max 1 sneaker, which is fitting as Mandarin wedding ducks are traditionally gifted in pairs. The second version, called the “Better Together” set, Kasina x Air Max 1 SP ‘Won-Ang – Grey’ DQ8475-001 has a more masculine look with a grey suede mudguard and a dark navy upper made of tumbled leather and animal hairs. The dubrae and uppermost eyelets have a wooden-style treatment. Like the first pair, these Air Max 1s feature the phonetic spelling of the shop name, “카시나” in Korean, as a highlight.
